Worship and some free time...

Sunday, May 28

We had pancakes for breakfast, yummo!
We toured the school in Lalachosa that we've been helping to build for several years. They now have completed the first floor, and are continuing work on floors 2-4.
We joined Ebeneezer Church for Sunday morning church services, and played with the kids.
On the way back to Casa Pastoral, the bus was too tall to drive under a low hanging power line. Alex used an obliging stick to raise the power line for the bus to pull through. Yay Alex!
We ate chili for lunch back at Casa Pastoral, and headed out for an afternoon at the beach. Forgot to pack a bottle opener for soda drinks and purchased a key chain bottle opener that did the job.
After arriving back at Casa Pastoral, we had roast beef, potatoes, carrots, and broccoli. After re-fueling, we went to participate with Maranatha's Sunday night services in which Glenn preached. Amen, brother!

Greetings from La Romana -
Bekah DeWitt & Daniel Phillips
