This morning after breakfast we went to church and also looked at the school right next door to Ebeneezer Baptist church to see the progress that has been made. During church we sang Amazing Grace in both Spanish and English so that was fun. After we came back and ate lunch we went to the beach and stayed there for several hours. It was a great day to be in the Dominican Republic.

After a wonderful dinner, we went to church service at Maranantha Baptist Church. Maranantha is the church that sponsored Ebeneezer Baptist as a mission church. Since Trinity helped construct Ebeneezer, our church has been partnering with Maranantha for many years. We cannot understand too much of the songs or what is spoken, but we can share in their joy for the Lord. Today was a special treat as Mother Day was celebrated today in the DR. All of our mothers from Trinity stood and were recognized during the Maranantha service. I sent a note to my mom to wish her another Happy Mother's Day, but this month it's Felize Dias Ma-ma.
